Children's Hospital Introduction

Children's hospital provides high level treatment and rehabilitation therapy for pediatric and adolescent health. It was established by the government and Chon-buk National University Hospital to set the standard in children's hospital. We provide health care service supporting primary prevention to tertiary prevention, and rehabilitation for children and adolescents, especially abused children, injured children, and children with severe disabilities. We will accomplish our role as children's hospital by "uaranteeing health for local children" Patient referral system will be activated with local children's hospitals and clinics. Examinations with child welfare facilities and continuous education for epileptic patients and their guardians will be promoted.

The objectives

• Construction of ONE-STOP medical service through multidisciplinary practice in a child centered environment
• Central institution for education treatment, and research of children diseases in Chon-buk
